Projects and Collaborations
The Plus Project
The Plus Project is founded by Manchester based, queer, disabled, contemporary classical musicians Naomi Reilly Robinson & FLOWERS Tannenbaum. Named after the plus symbol in LGBTQIA+ we felt that we didn't always fit into the simple tick boxes of society. We created The Plus Project as an arts collective that brings queer artists and performers across Manchester together for the chance to tell their story and explore subjects close to them. Composer and Founder FLOWERS Tannenbaum writes original compositions that reflect the realities of being a queer person in today’s society. His works address challenges that Queer people face everyday. These are then performed by co-founder Naomi Reilly Robinson and other local queer artists. The project brings cross collaboration in the form of music, dance, spoken word, drag, theatre and film.
This project is funded by the Superbia Queer Arts Grant 2025.
